A Message from the SGFA President

Welcome to our 104th Open Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London.

Our thanks go to our team led by Sarah Witt at the Mall Galleries for the tremendous work they have been doing on our behalf.Once again, we had a very large number of entries to our show this year, from both members and non-members, making it a very difficult task for the Selection Panel because of the high standard of work submitted. So, our congratulations go to all those whose work will be hung in our exhibition this year.

Our thanks go to Gwen Hughes Fine Art, London, and Watts Gallery Contemporary Programme Manager, for agreeing to be our Prize Selector this year. Our thanks also go to sponsors and prize selectors from Pure Arts and from the Society of Scottish Artists.And we welcome and thank representatives from the RSA (Royal Society of Arts) who will be our Opening Speakers.A further special thanks go to the team at the OESS whose input and advice have been invaluable.
