Following a chance conversation at the Private View of my recent solo exhibition with friends who were looking for a print for their bathroom, I made Green Sanctuary. This is a linocut with watercolour of an imagined bathroom with lots of houseplants from my own collection. I particularly wanted the tiles to be celadon green as for some reason this came to mind when I was chatting about how it might look.

When this fungus appeared in my garden I thought it would be a great subject for a print as the form, colours and detail in the lobes were so interesting. I have portrayed it as it grew with Foetid Iris Berries and leaves and Fern. Printed on Somerset 300gsm paper. Edition of 10

My interpretation of a Scarlet Tiger Moth which sat on my lawn for long enough for me to draw and photograph it. It was so bright and beautiful on a hot summer day. I have portrayed it as it rested on the grass with Clover and Bugle leaves and flowers. Printed on Somerset 300gsm paper.
